How long does a Panther Chameleon live?

Day 2 -- I just am getting into this and am scrambling to get a stable environment for my new male Panther. Everyday is a new one with adding plants and building a stand along with automating the environment once I have stabilized it I thought to myself how long does a panther live? Does anyone know this answer?

This is how my vet answers this question: Anywhere from 7 days to 7 years.

Typical life span IIRC for Males is 5-7 years, females slightly shorter at 4-6 years and breeding typically decreases that as well.

They can also live beyond 7 years, but it's rare.

Mine (male) lived just under 5 years, but he had some kidney issues and an infection. 5-7 years for males is not exceptional.
