It would help sticking to one thread rather than starting another...you will get more responses that way.

How long have you had her in your care?
Do you feel any eggs in her?
How much is she eating, and how often?
Is she roaming her cage and acting restless?
Has she been bred at all?

I have had her for a month and a week
i try not to feel for them but i will i dont wanna mess anything up tho
she has been eating ALOT less usually every other day but not even that anymore
she climbs the screen and walks on low branches and stares at her drip system
never been bred but will be asap (when my male reaches that age)

She is between 9 and ten months she got so fat lately like i left for a week and whe i came back i didnt reconize her or my male she got fat and had dark and orangish colors and my male went from brown to every color it was crazy anyways she has been angry lately and idk

I have laying bins in all of my females enclosures by that age. I use a bucket full of washed playsand 10-12" deep and wide enough for them turn around comfortably in. The sand, or any laying substrate should be damp enough to hold a tunnel without collapsing.

I notice your female is a cross...where did you get her from? What locale is your male?

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My male is Ambanja/Ambilobe morph and he is between 6 and 7 months my male is my display pic he is my little buddy and yeah my female is nosy be/ambanja/sambava morph i got her from Chameleons Northwest they have some BEAUTIFUL morphs!!!!!!!!! i paid a whopping $50 for her plus $50 shipping but i wish i would have bought more than one cuz $50 is pretty cheap. she came REALLY healthy and curious with lots of attitude

OK, first off

Gravid is a state were a female is carrying eggs, either fertile or infertile.

To determine if a female is graved, slight check the stomach for eggs, gently.

introduction to a male should cause her to go black and gape.

and finally you might/should be able to see eggs bumping and pushing against teh skin, kindda like a tight bag around marbles.

STILL looking for help she gapes at my male i tried introducing them and thats what she did so i put her in a 5 gal bucket filled with a moist sand and dirt mixture for a day and a half and NOTHING

if she is gaping, then it could mean she is gravid, she just won't "lay the eggs" in a day, you need to prepare a laying bin and if possible keep it in the enclosure, and provide as much privacy as possible, if you startle or watch her, she will abandon any attempt to dig a hole to lay the eggs in.

at this point she could become egg bound and die, if she gets to a point were you really are worried, a vet visit is your best choice for her health.

there is a window in which the time you mated her, or the time she began to develope eggs, from start to lay, if she passes that window, then you'd have to take her in if she didn't lay the eggs.

i am not sure what the window is as i think it is different from species to species, i think a panther chameleon from the time she is mated, is max 35 days to lay the eggs.. not sure.

Ok,

First off, most likely your female is NOT gravid. Why do you think she is gravid? You say she isn't eating from your hand, is she still eating? She is probably getting pissed off (showing dark coloration and not eating) from a couple things.

1. Constantly being held
2. Trying to introduce a male (I won't even go into WHY you are breeding crosses and where you plan on getting rid of them)
3. Putting her in a bucket for no reason
4. Any other disturbance (like trying to handfeed all the time, you constantly being in view of the chameleon, constantly trying to handle, etc...)

Please leave her alone with some food in her cage so she can relax. Also make sure she isn't in view of your male, or any other living creature.

one more thing, from the pictures you posted on the first post, she does not look gravid. Gravid females don't have black barring, their whole bodies outside of the lateral line and a few area go BLACK.

See ya,

Todd
