Hi CF,
I'm Firdaus from Malaysia. I have been involved in reptiles since more than 10 years back. Bought my first burmese python in 1998 and had been collecting pythons, varanids, tortoises, turtles until 2008. Then I changed to geckos. I primarily work with leopard geckos and their morphs. But I do work with some other cool species like Nephrurus sp., Hemitheconyx sp., Diplodactylus sp. and Lucaseum sp. I got some snakes too. But mostly Hondurans and Hognoses. Now I am looking to venture out and add more colors into my reptile collection. I always thought that I would go back to pythons. But then I came across Chameleons specifically Panthers (Furcifer pardalis) and have been extracting as much info as I could gather before taking the plunge. They look so beautiful that I totally caved.
Below are some of my animals:
And this is my reptile room:
So here I am looking to learn from all of you so that I can materialize my dream of becoming a panther keeper and breeder in my own country (yes Malaysia is a CITES country).
Hope to learn a lot from this great forum.
Thanks!
