I decided on http://www.zoomed.com/db/products/EntryDetail.php?EntryID=116&DatabaseID=2&SearchID=1
to be used for my dubia.

I found it to be quite useless. If my room temp is 74 the most I could get the enclosure up to was 78.

Anyone else used this product? If so what were your results?

Ive used it for various things. It works.

We have our dubias in a glass aquarium with screen top. The egg crates are on the left side. We placed a rubber adhesive reptile heating mat on the outside end of the aquarium nearest the egg crates. We also have a piece of cardboard covering that side of the lid, to retain some of that heat. The room temp is a steady 78-79 degrees. The aquarium is in the high 80s and the dubias maintain a robust colony.

Undertank Heater.......

I have a large roach colony in a glass tank. I use a ZooMed undertank heater with a ZooMed reostat control so that I can turn it up or down depending on time of year. The roaches really seem to like it. You really have to protect whatever the thing sits on though unless it's on concrete. It can discolor just about anything else. I have mine sitting on several folded towels.

I use the heat cable to heat my snake bins, and it works awesome. I love it.

I also use a heat cable with a ZooMed rheostat. Works awesome for me. I keep the one side of the bin 90-95 degrees and the other side room temp.

hmm mine just seems to not put out much heat. wonder if this one is defective
