He Finally Ate!!!!

Hey guys!!!
Ok so I've had Reptar for 3 days already and for the past 3 days I've been trying to feed him butter worms, but every time he sees them he just turns around and climbs away. I know it's normal for new chameleons not to eat for the first few days but I got in contact with his previous breeder and she told me to feed him crickets and let them roam the cage. Well, I took her advice and as soon as I put the first cricket he just went for it! He ate a total of 8 1/4 crickets with d3 power. This is his first meal in the past 3 days and I'm so happy! He ate 3 of them off my hand which made this experience 100x better!

My baby chams get crickets as a staple with a few small nymph roaches as treats. I've never fed them butter worms. I do feed my adults Hornworms and Silkworms. They both go nuts over the Horn worms but my male doesn't care for the Silks. And my female is the only one that eats the Roaches. She goes absolutely crazy for them!

Thanks buddy! Yes I was waiting for this one too! I'm so glad he ate. Now he is healthy for sure because he is hydrated and he is finally eating thank god.

That's so true haha but for now I am very happy and relieved! I can go out a little now and not worry he is starving. I know he is hydrated thank god
