Well I keep all my stuff in the basement and it is usually around 63 to 70 degrees down there. I want to hook up a heating pad, (I bought it for a leopard gecko a few years ago and it was made for lizards) but my concern is will this pad melt and God forbid possibly cause a fire if i put it under a plastic tupperware container? I want to put a towel down on the cement floor (because it cold) and then set the heating pad and rubbermaid container on top of that.
What should I do?
