Fruits and Vegetables

I'm sure this has been asked a million times. But I really want to diversify my chams food and was thinking about feeding him some fruits and vegetables. Can I feed him readily availible produce from the grocery store? If so what kinds and how much?

This site has excellent nutritional info on commonly available fruits and veggies. It's geared for iguanas but the concepts are exactly the same. Aim for those higher in calcium than phosphorus and avoid goitrogens and oxalates (interfere with calcium absorption).

Do you have a panther? If so, they really don't eat vegetables and fruits. However, some Veilds will and maybe there are some other speices that will also but as a rule they are pretty much insectivores.
