Ficus for sale at LLL

For everyone that has trouble finding Ficus trees for their chameleon cages-I just noticed that LLL has live ones for sale. It also mentions they don't guarantee live delivery if temps are below 35 degrees.

A ficus will not ship well. Most likely the plant will have lost most of its leaves by the time you get it. If possible, I highly recommend going to home depot and picking up a large healthy ficus or schefflera.

I personally like getting one that will reach almost the top of the cage (3.5-4ft). It made quite a difference from a small one.

Agreed-I have schefflera in all of my cages.

i actually ordered mine from them. It took about a week to come and is about 22inches tall potted. It came in great condition and is doing fine. I had to trim it to fit in my 20inch high zilla cage. I only had it for a few days but so far so good. And it was below 35 degrees here in ny when i got it.

Home Depot...it's a no brainer. Just picked up two yesterday and have two more coming tomorrow at the local shop here near me. Ficus are great looking houseplants and my chameleon loves his.

how hard are these plants to keep alive? do they require alot of attwntion of do you guys just sick them in there and water and they are fine?
