they were her first clutch and they were infertile yellowish color but she had exactly 25 eggs :) she started at 4:45 and ended at one in the morning :( im so tired she immediatly drank and wanted to nap for the night she is super skinny she started laying right as soon as we were about to leave to the vets thank God.....will post pics later :) thanks forr all that helped !!!!!!

Isn't it scary? My female veiled just went through this with 44 infertile eggs. Glad everything was ok. Make sure to give her a lot of calcium and feed her for the next 3 or 4 days straight and then go back to your regular feeding schedule.:)

SOme females will eat very soon after laying, others may take a few days. You can try to entice her to eat by offering her favorite food.

Congratulations, Ryan! So glad that is over. She will probably eat while she is alone today. Let us know how she progresses.

Nice timing on her part. She saved you that vet bill at the last minute!

yeah she did she is still not eating but will drink i dont kno what do i do to trigger her appetite??

She will eat, don't worry about it. It usually takes my girls a day or two to get their appetite back. If there are crickets in her cage she can snatch them up when she is ready. Don't leave a bunch in there. 2 or 3 will do nicely. You can always give her more when she eats those.

I am worried about her. If she doesn't eat in the morning I would take her to the vet and have her checked out. My girl eat and drink as soon as she came out of the laying bin.

yikes just what i didnt wanna do ...the vet its so expensive where i live gosh its outragious......what do you think about reptaid from chameleonsnorthwest?????

Females can have all sorts of problems after laying eggs. If she were mine, and she did not eat tomorrow, I'd have her checked out and get some liquid calcium from your vet. If you are planning to breed and have more egg laying down the road you will need it anyway. Chameleons are expensive animals to keep. Just wait till you have babies and then see all the vet visits they may need. My daughter breeds and she's at the vet with somebody just about every week.

o key do key will do.........gosh this gets expensive lol not a prob tho like $200-300 to have her stay for a couple days to get checked out before laying the eggs wow is this too much he is the only guy i found around by me

That's way more than my vet charges and he's an expert at chameleons but he doesn't ever keep mine over night.
