Eating habbits

So Jasper(2 month male veil) gone from 3-4 medium crix a day to about 6. I did notice today that he looks like he is about to shed. Would this have anything to do with Jaspers increased appitite? I am happy he is eating more I was just wondering if they eat more during a shed or if he is just a fatty

If anything, they usually decrease their appetite during a shed. Honestly all my guys eat as if nothing is happening during their sheds. But in a way I think your assumption is right. The shed indicates he is growing thus he wants to eat more.

I was sorta wondering too...Can they actually overeat? Mine seem to eat nomatter how many I give them and that makes me end up wondering if they are still hungry or should their 6-7 crickets and mealworms be enough..

The day before reptar started his shed he ate about 1/2 normal, and then it was right back to the normal the next day
