OK, so heres a quesion to anybody able to answer....I wanted to mist my Panther Chameleon on a timer for at least two periods lasting 15min each.. The problem I'm having is the build up of water at the bottom of my wood/screen cage (bottom is covered with plexi-glass which holds the water, but at 15 min intrevals I'm getting to much water collected at the bottom.. So I was thinking 2 things, 1 drill a drainage hole in the bottom of my cage, OR add a few more pots with soil (no plants).. Im thinking the three or four small pots will not only catch more water but also add to the humidty which is not that great to begin with...thoughts???

Drilled holes in the bottom of your cage with catch buckets are a must in my opinion. We have about 10 holes drilled in the bottom of all of our cages right in the center in a group. We keep our cages elevated on those heavy duty plastic stacking shelves from home depot and a bucket under them on the next shelf. Works great.
