do chams store fat in their tails?

i have noticed that some chameleon have fatter tails than others. do they store fat like other lizards or just genetics? i could be reading to much into it but it seems like healthier chams have fatter tails.

Are you talking about males? That is a hemipenal budge. Some are more gifted than others...

Iguanas store fat in their tails, I was under the impression that chams didn't. They tend to store fad in their head pads. Males will have a bigger tail due to the hemipenes.
