Distinguishing males from females

I'm very interested in these baby ambilobe panthers but I definitely want a male. I read that the males are more colorful, but will it be noticeable if they are still young. These chams are still pretty young so what is the best way to decipher between the sexes.

not always. The better way to tell is the males will have a slight bulge where the tail begins. Sometimes it is still hard to tell. Some bulges are more pronounced than others (just like men lol) The colors can you throw you off sometimes too and you will think female and it will be a male.

Hahaha ok carol. Is there a name for the bulge, that way I can look it up. I wanna try and have a decent distinguishing ability when I go into the store to buy one. It seems there isn't too many tricks to tell the difference. Thanks for the feedback so far.
