Dermestid Beetle

So I have found that when purchasing crickets I usually get a hold of a few of these little critters' larvae. I try to remove them as quickly as possible because I tend to find crickets that have been chewed on when they are in the cricket cage, but I had a good idea during this last purchase of crickets.

I took an old cricket container I had and placed all of the Dermestid Beetle larvae I found into this container. I am now using it as a "waste container" for any old cricket food or dead crickets. So far it has been pretty useful since I don't keep a waste basket in the room with my cham.

I don't feed them to my cham due to the fact that they are full of dead cricket.

My only fear would be if they got out if they would cause any trouble? Like reproducing a lot. I have also seen where some people have lost herps from mealworm beetles and knowing that these are a type of carrion beetle that kinda spooks me as well.

Has anyone had experience with taking care of these beetles?
