cricket death

crickets are stupid... i put them in the cage for feeding and they find the smallest drops of water to drown in! it seems like this is happening every time i feed and its sooooo frustrating! what should i do to keep this from happening? i heard feeder cups work well but i have never seen how to set one up... does anyone have pictures or is there any other good stratagies to keep my crickets alive? it seems like they do best when they are high up in the cage like on the sides.

are you using baby crickets?

sponges work well to absorb and contain extra water. Good for letting crickets drink from also.

You may want to be carefull with sponges as they promote Bacteria Growth. Bacteria for some reason love sponges. Just a word of Advice.
