I don't know if anyone has heard of these bulbs. I was wondering if you used one for your cage would it supplement all needs for your chameleon? IE basking spot, uva-b, etc. It would be a wonderful light for any live plant life you had in the enclosure.

If this isn't enough lighting for the chameleons, what else would I need to supplement in?

The graph on that site doesn't show or even go into the UVB spectrum.... Sure, maybe plants grow really nice under it... but it can't substitute for UVB from what I can tell.

Yes, MH lamps create great spectrum's of light for simulating sun, but to use that alone it has to have UVB.

Check out the link Todd mentioned. They make a great MADE FOR REPTILES MH lamp.

thanks guys... Indoor tomato grower.... Once upon a time maybe, I am military now and they frown upon such acts. :p I just figured it may put out the right spectrum. A ceramic metal hallide is like an hps and a metal hallide combined.
