Centipedes found in dirt

I have about a year old veiled chameleon and i have recently started to see centipedes in the dirt of the plant in the cage. I do not know where they could have came from. They are very small, no more than an inch long. I've seen her eat a couple out of the dirt. Does this matter? Should I change the dirt out?

Thanks

They could be house centipedes...don't know if they will hurt the chameleon or not...but centipedes eat insects, so they might eat whatever insects you put in to feed the chameleon.

Do they look like this??

They come in my plants from home depot and lowes all the time. It's best to take the plant out of the pot and get as much dirt as you can off it. Then re pot it with organic soil. I doubt they would do much if anything to the Cham though.
