Cage for baby chams

I just had to put my veiled chameleon to sleep a few days ago & I will be getting a new cham in the spring. I have heard that it is OK for young chams to be housed in a glass aquarium for a short period of time until large enough for their large screen cage. I know they have small screen cages for small chams. What are everyones thoughts on this?? I have no problem buying a small screen cage just would not have a use for it afterwards.

if its a glass aquarium then no, not for 3 months or longer, a proper ventilated glass terrarium will be fine.

Yeah

It's better to use screen but I know many people who how's their bbys in screen topped glass cages. As long as u keep the bacteria down meaning be very OCD about water puddling and stuff clean the cage often..don't get me wrong though screen is better though
