so my male veiled is finally growing up, has had some good sheds and is kept properly i believe. conditions are listed below for reference and i beleive he is very well taken care of but i may be wrong. this thread is also for some tips on anything i can do differently care wise.
so here's an image, he is sleeping, this is at 1am. his eyes are not recessed i do not think when he is awake but the brown makes them look weird. he never has them closed except at night. what could this be? also i noticed some white around his mouth but is most likely just his pattern i hope. the brown on his veil seems slightly raised but that may be normal for the edge of the veil. it feels like the rest of his body, not tender or anything.
it has been like this about a month and has gotten darker over time.

now i hope somebody can tell me if this is normal or not, and if not what the problem is. also if i can do anything to care for him better.
info:
(sorry there is alot)
hes handled about one time every 2 weeks if that and not for long when hes out (he doesnt like it) i clean the towel in his cage every 4-6 days and just disinfected his whole cage for the first time in 3 months today (but he keeps it nice) because im over paranoid of mouthrot and similar sicknesses.
hes kept in a room where i watch tv and work but i dont really bother him except for when i spray and clean his bowl and feed him.
there are some humidity fluctuations 10%-60% but i spray as often as possible (every hour) its dry in the winter. cage stays at 75 degrees F, i was told my lighting is good, i have a 5.0 uvb spiral bulb now resting next to the spot lamp on the top of the cage. the spot is about 10 inches away from him while basking. i feed him calcium dusted crickets every day (all he can eat, free range) and twice a month i give a multi vitamin. no gutloading of the crickets, just the blue water substitute.
dripper is running into a bowl, hits no leaves. i never see him drink but i spray him all the time and his feces is usually brown with white urates (i think its the urates, attached to the feces) but they are a very slight orange tint once in awhile, but that fixes itself. he is on a lighting timer (9:45 am to 11:45 pm)
and i think that's it, he recently started eating around me and eats about 20 full size crickets a day/ sheds 1 time a month.poops 1 to 2 times daily and is mostly out and active, never sleeps during the day.
thanks in advance!
