Breeding?

I have had my male panther for about 8 months now and he is the love of my life. I live alone in nyc so my Chams are like my babies.

I got a female panther who wasn't receptive and my males sole mission was to get in her face colors blaring every five seconds, so I had to relocate her for her own good

Question, how do people go about breeding. If I bought a receptive female id still to keep her completely separate n out of view of my male, considering I free range and have lil space for a cage it doesnt seem to be a good choice.

How do most people go about this, I wan to keep my males bloodline going because he is beautiful, any reccomendations on how?

They were on the same free range for about 2 days before seeing how incompatible they are to live together, they really must be separated, which is crazy because females must be like chased down in the wild constantly.

Even when I put my female on another tree across the room the male would literally run over to it across the floor, actually quite funny, but it appears as if you must separate them visually

Thanks jann, all the things in the thread are things i'm prepared to do, i was more curious about housing / pairing of panthers. My thoughts are that they absolutely must be separated visually correct?>
