Testing is almost complete on these and I have found the "up" converter (110v to 220v) that works best with the set up.
The first large order of Arcadia 220v Mercury Vapor Bulbs, Euro Domes and converters has been placed and the bulbs and dome fixtures are being imported from England as we speak.
There are 3 sizes of 220v Merc Vapor Bulbs coming:
80 watt Mini.. Reg. 39.99.... Sale Price 34.99

Yes...
We all know how "Funky" those 110v Mercury vapor lamps are.
They just are not the same as the 220v ones made for the European Market.
The 220v platform seems to support the self ballasted lamps so much better.
I just woke up one day and that little bell in my head went off!
"What have I been thinking??"
"Why not just go with what works and do a 220v Kit so that these Arcadia European 220v Mercury Vapor Lamps can be used in the US & Canada!??"
So I began testing a new kit that includes The Awesome Arcadia 220v Mercury Vapor D3 Bulb, the very well made Arcadia Ceramic Reflector Clamp Lamp (with Euro Plug) AND pairing it up with an AFFORDABLE HIGH QUALITY 110 to 220v step up converter.
It is currently down to testing the different brands of converters to find the best one go in this set-up.
We shall have these for sale next month!!

I DO have the 220v Mercury vapor lamps in 80w, 100w and 160w for sale...

They will fit any standard (e27) socket...
but you must use with a step up converter 110v up to 220v. (At approx. double the lamps wattage as a buffer.)
