Any downside to using PVC for outdoor enclosure frame?

seen it done once or twice, but would like any feed back on this method before I go to Home Cheapo and pick up goods

Would be painting the frame with a krylon or such paint before screening, just to hide ugly white PVC (black ABS is too big, and black PVC is expensive at my sources)

thanks for any feedback

don't really have "cold" here, maybe 40 at the COLDEST on a couple nights a year

My Panther, he's at 4 months, plan to build enclosure and get plants going well, work out kinks, get misting system and drainage figured out, by the time my procrastinating a$$ does that, my cham should be 6-7 months, and move back outdoors pretty much year round.

Breeder was keeping him outdoors before I got him, but he's like Yoda and I'm just a Padiwan when it comes to this so I'm gonna go slow

pvc works great in ideal conditions which is what ur keeping ur cham in not super hot not super cold so pvc will work. pvc does not insulate well so i plan to run water though it and heat insulation of oam and tape might be needed but other than that go for it as the pvc wont see those temp being for a chameleon
