Amilobe Temperatures

Good day!

I have my new 3 month Ambilobe (Chimichanga).

He so far seems to be happy with his enclosure, however, I am concerned over his temperatures have me a little concerned. The night time temperatures I have been able to reduce to 70F. His daytime tempratures are hitting 80F. The issue I have is that in the summer it will likely get to 90-95 in his enclosure without using air conditioning.

There is no direct sunlight and the blinds are closed all day. He seems a little uncomfortable once the temperatures peak 82-83F and occasionally opens his mouth which seems to be to cool down. His basking lamp is off and I havent turned it on since it gets more than warm enough in there.

It does get cooler in the bottom of the cage (likely from the 2 minute misting every hour) but he still prefers being near the top of the cage. I have places my cool breeze humidifier beside the cage blowing into it from a distance and he seems to be more comfortable but I am concerned about when the outside temps hit 90-100F this summer.

Thank you in advance for any advice!
