aluminum vista weave screen

could i use phifer aluminum vista weave screen with charcoal coating to make chameleon cages ? can you paint the screen?

Kinda curious about the whole paint thing.. why would you want to paint it? It should be fine. The biggest problem with window screening is the small weave. Screen climbers get their toes stuck in the screen and sometimes lose toenails and toes.

i thought i could paint the screen with drilock or something which would coat it so if a chameleon rubs their nose etc it won't scratch it.the main purpose of this screen is for building cages for the babies lucky and splinter is gonna have.
