A little worried, just need an opinion.

I was installing a new vine in my cham's enclosure (i believe he is about 6 months old) and i leaned the screen top against one of the table legs, and let him chill on it while i did the work. i wasn't paying attention and i heard a small thump. it turns out he fell when i wasn't looking. it is only a foot to the ground, and my floor is carpeted. he seems fine and there are no visible injuries, but i'm worried anyway. should i be?

Just watch him carefully for the next days. Some chameleons do not fall, but jump down by choice, and they can jump distances more than one foot without injuries.

Falling a foot especially on a carpet is nothing!!! I wouldn't worry at all.

hes fine...jus keep a watch for any strange behaviour..but im sure hes fine.

Same thing happened to me while cleaning last month. They fell from my counter and they're fine. Carpet is padded kinda.
