10.0 UVA/UVB bulb and why?

I remember reading that someone was using a 10.0 bulb on their xantholophus'. I was wondering why? Anyone (long term), successfully doing that? And if so, how do you have it based in relation to the cage/highest perch?

I use a 5.0 on mine, which sometimes I feel just isn't enough, seeing as they are reptariums/felxariums, and the mesh is so thick and dark that I worry the UVA/UVB doesn't quite get through enough. But it seems to be working fantastic. I would be nervous about putting anymore than a 5.0 on them.

when i was using the flexariums i felt the same way about the UV not gettin into the cage and bought a 100 watt mercury vapor bulb and it has worked since like he was one 3 months old. i have them on both of my cages now. i did make my own cages with aluminum screen so the one light provides everything. heat and UV. both cams have strong grasp and very healthy.
