My nosy be just spent all day in her laying bin digging and covering.:D She laid 26 perfect little eggs. even though it's an infertile clutch it's still exciting seeing how my last breeding project went bust when my ambi prolapsed trying to pass a clutch.

Hey everyone!! We were walking around a local nursery and came across a plant called a Wandering Jew. It's just gorgeous!! We googled it to see if it were on a safe plant list and one of the many lists we came across was on the FL Chams site, which I know has some flaws. Has anyone used this...
We came home from the NY expo with a new addition to our family :D. Introducing Murray the Giant Meller's, even though we don't know the sex yet so we might be changing the name. He/she is only 6mo and already pretty big i want to get him on a scale but he's still a little stressed from his big...
So since It's been so cold here in NJ and we have heaters running almost 24/7 the humidity has been super low. We do eveything we can to keep it up but I thought a nice warm humid shower would be nice for my guys.

I know it's still winter and cold as anything here in New Jersey, but I'm starting to get a bit ansty and perhaps a touch of Spring Fever! Now that snow is finally melting and I can finally see grass, I'm ready for Spring and warm weather! This got me thinking about bringing the chameleons...
I woke up this morning to a phone call from my parents saying my dog is dying. If that wasn't bad enough, I come home to see Layla limp on her perch, with, what looks to me, like poop... but I really don't think it is.
I plan on getting her to the vet as soon as I can. But has anyone even...

Not a great plant list
I had originally called this "Great Plant List" because I found a list on the FL Chams website, then I was informed the list is greatly flawed. Womp womp womp.
So iv decided to start a dubia colony, much to the dismay of my girlfriend :D but it just financially makes sense if i can get a nice colony going. Everything as of now has gone great. Started with about 40, put them in a nice big container with egg creates and have been gut loading them fresh...
After reading Jann's blog, we went with clean play sand in a 12 inch deep bucket to place in the cage that we keep moist. It holds it's shape if I dig into it.. not too wet or dry.
We had brought Layla to the vet because she wasn't looking too hot (She's fantastic now!) and the vet claimed...
I decided Farran looked a bit dehydrated, and didn't really see him take a drink today, so I wanted to give him water with a syringe. He wasn't happy when I was taking him out of the cage, but he took 2 nice drinks. Well, I guess for him it was pay back time, because he decided to not only...

Introducing Bea (like Bea Arthur:D) The 10mo. nosy be female. Im going to breed her w/ my male Sinatra in a few months.
Heres her boyfriend Sinatra
We were suppose to go to the Giants game but realized it's just not doable right now. So instead we are going to the NY Reptile Expo in White Plains, NY again. Anyone else going?
This may seem like a stupid question, but can they sense each other's presence? We have a male and a female caged next to each other, in separate cages, with black pegboard in between so they cannot see each other but still have optimal air flow. Is it possible that they can sense each other...
Our two cages that are 18x18x36 are fine, but it's our 2x2x4 cages that are just way too bare now. We have a schefflera in each one and they use to be full and beautiful, now the bottoms are just too bare. We really want to fill them in quite a bit. Any suggestions on filling them in? We...
