I always talked to mine and I know for a fact that they all reacted to the vibrations of my voice cause they would come to the cage door to be let out every time the heard me near or even reacting to a special car and not others.
I could be in a different room and one of my m8s in the cham room...

I've been there myself and I know the feeling of helplessness.
You did all you could do (sorry for my poor English), but it is never easy to see a love one fade away - but I'm sure you beloved cham always will be with you in your spirit and heart.

He became ill on a Thursday and I took him to the vet right away (I mean within 1 hour of me noticing something as off the got looked at), but the vet told me that there was nothing he could do, but the vet and I knew that Sir James always was a fighter so...
Well haven't been here for many months now, but now I am back and with a photo of my deceased Veiled 1.0, "Sir James" Its a self portrait I made last year.
