    Is my chameleon stressed?

If he isn't screen climbing around the cage all the time and just sits right under the basking bulb it most certainly is an issue with his temps. may or may not be useful but, what I use is a reflector dome w/ a 70 watt halogen bulb that I position pointed towards my chams basking branch at an...

My cham looks angry and eating dirt?

You've been moving him around quite a bit and he needs time to settle into his surroundings and explore them so that he can make sure he is safe. It looks like your set-up could use some more foliage and branches as well, specifically, more foliage in the middle of the cage w/ branches and you...

    Ambanja slowing down

I have a quick question, those who keep ambanja’s, do your males ever go through a period where they seem to slow down and get fuller in color? Temps have dropped and my boy Lenny seems to be going in hibernation mode lol. His colors have gotten much fuller and his activity throughout the day...

    Weird looking eye?

How far away is the bulb from her highest branch? How often do you supplement each supplement per week? D3 w/ the multivitamin should only be given 2x per month.

    Weird looking eye?

Doesn't appear to be anything wrong w/ the eye, structurally, from the pic other than the fact that she has it closed in one of the pics. What kind of UVB bulb do you use? Supplements? Did she shed recently? Or is she currently shedding?

    Won't lay eggs! HELP!

Mealworms are harder for them to digest due to the chitin in their exoskeleton, they shouldn’t be fed as a staple. Stick to roaches, crickets, silkworms

    Won't lay eggs! HELP!

You may need to make a sep. laying bin outside her cage like a trash bin filled only about a foot high w/ washed plays and and coco husk. also stop handling her as much in general. Chameleons might seem like they might not mind being held cus some are very docile, however, it does stress them...

    New Cage almost completed!!!

Looks great! I just have a few questions... do you have two heat lamps at the top of the cage? It's probably a dumb question but, is the heat lamp the one pointing toward the branches in the back behind the uvb fixture? Is the thermometer reading 78 degrees ago the basking branch, and is this...

    Chameleons right eye problem

In the meantime, you can try and gently remove the stuck piece of shed around the opening of the eye by wetting a cotton swab with water (don’t use warm) and see if you can get it to come off. The vet will be able to check for an infection if one has already formed. you never want to forcibly...
