    Concerned!

Carmelo is an adopted Cham so I have no background or age information. For the past 5 months he has been falling to the bottom of his enclosure. I removed his center plants and installed a horizontal, plastic honeycomb barrier to prevent him from falling to the floor. I took him to an Exotic...

    Importance of Pothos

    1. It can take daily mistings without getting root rot. 2. You will only ever kill 1. Your next Pothos will live forever 3. Veileds like to tiptoe through the Pothos 4. Your Pothos might grow a casque. 5. Pothos will be eaten by your veiled cham helping him to maintain a 19 day hunger...

    Fired up!

Why is everyone fired up this morning? Gee whiz! It's not that serious! Give me a break. All I did was look at you. I didn't even open the door. I only took pics because both of you are puffed up for no apparent reason! It's not nice to gang up on someone in control of the food 🫤

    Side eye!

When your side-eye look, does not send a strong message. Use the back-eye look. Carmelo has me shook! The look of disapproval!😧 You can get the back-eye from the left or right. In cases of extreme disapproval, you can get both at the same time! 🥶

    Help!

I rearranged Carmelo's enclosure a few weeks ago. I only moved 2 branches. Last week, I found him on the bottom of the enclosure. He never ventures down to the bottom and he looked shocked. I assumed he fell. A few minutes ago, I said hello to Carmelo. While I was feeding Bolt and the...

    Really!

This morning, I found Carmelo like this.¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥ I panicked. I thought he was dead. I touched his claw. He didn't move. I thought he was dead. I screamed for my husband as I continued to shake his dangling foot. Finally, Carmelo pulled himself up onto a branch. Then he got mad at me...

    My Pothos!

I needed fresh poop, so I removed the plants. After gathering the poop, all plants were returned except the Pothos. It's planted in a 4x24 inch planter and weighs 30lbs with rocks to cover soil. I finally figured out how to hang this monster. This is Carmelo's reaction to his beloved Pothos.

    Plant care

How do you avoid over watering enclosure plants. Ficus, Schefflera, Pothos, Money Tree. Even with drainage, I'm concerned about root rot/ keeping plants too wet.

    Weight gain!

@Beman @MissSkittles Today's Vet visit. Carmelo is 262g. 🤯. He was down to 218g. I only feed him 2 feeders and a hornworm everyother day. How could he gain weight? Besides he's been on a hunger strike. He definitely munches on the Money Tree and Pothos plants. Can he gain weight from the...

    Baby Panther Care

Bolt seems small, his skin is a little wrinkled. He weighs 40 grams but looks thin. Maybe he's getting longer. I didn't measure his length. He hasn't shed since he arrived Aug. 16th. Does that mean he's not growing? Yesterday, I finally got him to eat wax worms. He was only eating...

The baby hoppers are soooo cute, I can't dare feed them to Carmelo.😥😢😭 This Chameleon thing has opened up a whole new world for me. I'm wearing my feelings on my shoulders. I'm sprinkling bird food in my yard, leaving a food bowl for Rudley (baby opossum) and greens for Puff (baby bunny)...

    Dehydration

Since I started using grasshoppers as staple feeders, Carmelo only wants grasshoppers. Initially, he would eat 2 hoppers and 1 hornworn. For the last 30 days he has refused to eat horn worms or any other feeders. He only wants grasshoppers. I skipped a feeding day, offered him a hornworm and...
