    Chameleon Guarding Infertile Eggs?

Oh my, thanks for letting me know! I've been feeding her less bugs everyday since maybe December, but I was going to transition to every other day since she's getting older. I'll definitely look into that regimen and will implement it for her schedule. Thank you for your help!!

    Chameleon Guarding Infertile Eggs?

Update!!! So during the entire day she spent it closing up the hole? Eventually her colors went back to normal and she went to her little sleeping spot and stayed there till the lights went off. Just took out the eggs while she's sleeping and I counted 57 eggs!! So crazy to see that many in...

    Chameleon Guarding Infertile Eggs?

I put a dark sheet to cover her when I saw her digging, but I saw that it's not good watching them at all because they'll hold onto eggs if they see you while laying, so I definitely resisted.

    Chameleon Guarding Infertile Eggs?

So my 1 year and 1 month old veiled chameleon has done her first egg laying. I made sure to cover her area up real quick so she can have some privacy while egg laying. She started eggs laying around 3 hours (maybe more) after digging her hole but that was when it was getting close to sleeping...

    Trust the vet?

Woahhhh I thought they were gonna give up after the first few tries but it looks like they got frustrated with that darn worm 🤣 chameleon tongues are sticky so I'm guessing earth worms are just super slippery? 😅

    Trust the vet?

Oops sorry for being a lil vague, I spray my chams plants and the walls around it, of course I make sure to locate where my cham is before i spray to make sure the water doesn't go straight on her :)

    Trust the vet?

Thank you all for your input! I'll definitely look into the vets you recommended! And FYI, I spray my cham every morning and night, before waking up and after sleeping respectively (the morning spray was recommended by someone on the forum too!) I spray her enough till her Humidity gets around...

    Trust the vet?

Hmmmm so they gave me Baytril without confirming that she has an infection? And I live around Paramount, zip: 90723.

    Trust the vet?

Yep! Added a few photos of her eating but then left her alone after :D I technically didn't get it suggested but I personally asked for it and they are in the process of doing it. Update: I found her poop again with pheonix worms inside them so I am going to stop feeding pheonix worms to see if...

    Trust the vet?

Hello everyone!!! I've grown very trustworthy of this forum page as well as different reliable chameleon youtube channels (i.e. Neptune the Chameleon) and I would just like to share a concern from my first experience at the closest exotic vet near me. They had good yelp reviews and I was...

Chameleon doing leaf walk FAST or Shaking

Hey everyone! So I've had my new chameleon for the past 4 weeks or so, the breeders weren't sure of the age but with a bit of research my little guy looks about 1 month old or less. Chameleon Husbandry Info: The room I have him in or my house in general is relatively Humid, so I only spray his...
