On your phone there should be the option of rotating the image as well. It's usually a matter of clicking on the image you want, select an edit option, and rotate to the side you need it to. And then upload using whatever app.
Thank you for this, it's true that there just isn't enough info on these chameleons and the people that own them just don't post about them enough.
How much are you supplementing with plain calcium, if you don't mind me asking?
I certainly have a list of ignoramouses I would prefer to never hear from again, or at least give them a piece of my mind about how obnoxious, idiotic, and/or useless they are but I would also prefer to stay a member! On the other hand, I'm sure I'm on some people's black lists as well...
A few people have asked me about the tables I used as cage stands, and asked for details about how they are built so here they are.
In these photos they were getting packed up to go to a new home, but I made sure to take photos before they were gone.
The idea was to use a sheet of PVC...
Well, stress can and will kill animals. Prolonged stress weakens things like the immune system, so it stands to reason that you would be opening them up to diseases and such.
However, I think that if you can warm an animal up to you, then your presence stresses them out less, even when it's...
Chameleon Physiology & Supplements
Why Different Vitamins and Supplements Matter
This is a general (and hopefully easy to understand) overview of why different vitamins and mineral supplements we give our chameleons matter and how they affect their physiology.
A very special thanks to...
An Average Day For My Chameleons And Me
This is an example of what I do and how much time I might spend on my chameleons on a fairly average day*, to provide new keepers with a very general idea of what their days could look like as chameleon owners. Most of my set-up is automatic. I will...
Thank you!
Ah if only we got paid for the amount of hours we spend on them! But it varies so much from one person to another that it would be impossible to quantify an average. But I could make a blog about what a possible schedule looks like on an average day.
It does sound scary, doesn't it? But it's true, at the end of the day to do this thoroughly you need a lot of things. At least in my situation and for how I do things.
Yea, my panther looked anything but pink when she came out from laying lol But it's alright, I always give them a long shower after they lay anyway, a little dirt isn't a problem.
I'm liking the soil because it's a little lighter than sand. My cages don't sit flush on a table, the plants are...
Alright, thank you for the info. I use basil and stuff like rosemary and mint for cooking, so I was going to buy more plants and possibly add other to my mini garden if they could be used for gutloading. It's easy to do and it means I have a steady supply of greens, even if they are only used in...
Are there any other herbs which you consider good gutloading ingredients? I'm looking to stock up on herb plants to grow inside now before it gets cold and I've read through all your blogs but I think this is the only herb sold in nurseries to grow that I found. This and spearmint, but you say...
I just purchased some bug burger and hope to start testing it with my insects. I'm also going to get the Rapashy all in one supplement. So I'm interested in anything you have to say about their products!
