Yes she did cover the tunnel. I was waiting for the day that this happened because I was so nervous you know from reading all the things that have gone wrong. But now since she has laid them I feel relief
So my girl finally laid eggs! I saw her digging a hole and then turned around so I gave her the privacy she needed. Went back early in the morning to see if she was still there and she was at the top of the cage so I’m assuming she was done. I did manage to find 24 eggs going to go back when...
i’m not sure what’s up with my chameleon. i go into the cage to feed her the usual crickets and water the plants and i see her poop and it’s kind of runny and there urate is super orange. Help please
she has been these colors for two weeks maybe a little bit longer. Is this normal? she has laid eggs are anything yet she is around 6-7 months old. she really has t wanted to eat a whole lot either. i’m including some pics as well
Hello everyone! I was trying to find the best cage for me and my chameleon. I’ve recently found 3 that have caught my eye but I’m not entirely sure on their differences and I don’t want to spend money on something im not happy with. I was looking at a Zen, dragon strand, and Tamura designs...
She has kind of been laying on the basking branch for two days and I’ve noticed her tailed curled up during the day. She doesn’t appear to be sleeping her eyes are wide open? Is this normal behavior or should I be concerned? I also attached a picture.
I was kind of thinking the same thing. Plus When I was observing her she seem to be moving an awful lot rubbing against things trying to get it off. She definitely seemed a little bit more active than usual so I just kind of assumed made her more thirsty. Kind of like a workout I suppose
I kind of just figured all her scratching from trying to get it off and not really eating could cause her to be thirsty. But like you said I’ve just been watching her more just to look at the shedding process
Is it normal for chameleons to be thirstier while they shedding? I noticed my girl because comes more thirstier than normal when she’s sheds and eats a little less. Also how often do they typically shed?
Good I know it can be a stressful time for her so when that time comes I want to make sure she will be okay. Also do you know when you should replace the sand inside, like how often?
