Birdcage converted to a Cham cage

I have two female hatchlings that will need their own solitary enclosures. We are definitely building our own, and I've been pouring over design ideas. I found this cage being sold for only $100 bucks. It's 6ft tall, 4ft wide and 3ft deep. If I split it in half, it would give each girl a 2x3x6...

    Hatchling Experts?

I'm finding it difficult and confusing with gaining help for hatchlings. Most all information are for Chams that are 3mo and older. I do realize that it's highly uncommon (and irresponsible of the breeder) to sell tiny hatchlings. I wished I'd known that sooner rather than later. But here I...

    New Enclosure...review pretty please

I finally got my Reptisun 5.0 linear bulb and hood...so I got the babies into their bigger enclosure. It's a 16x16x30. They will both get their own 18x18x36 or larger, as they mature. They're both 3 week old females. I'd love any suggestions for something I may have missed. The plants are...

    Flightless fruit flies escaping!

How in the heck do you keep the fruitflies inside the enclosure? They fit right through the screen. I have FFFs all over my house. They're in my hair and driving us all mad! I've tried the fruit trick and it didn't work. They just climb right out of the cage every time. Help! Moonie planking...

    Help...cricket overload!

I fed our 2 hatchlings (only 2 weeks old) for their last meal of the day. I didn't have on my glasses and shook off way more pinheads than I intended. I know crickets can be problematic for reptiles...is that the case for pinheads as well? There are a good 30 or more in the cage with the girls...

    New to Chams..started with hatchlings

I recently purchased two hatchling Veiled Chams from a local breeder. I realize now, this is not ideal. But I'm dedicated to researching and providing the best possible care I can as a completely clueless newb. The two are only 1.5 weeks old. I have a couple questions. Housing: I am housing...
