Petco has been out of crickets for about two weeks now so I had to get my chameleon another type of food since she hadn’t eaten in a few days now. I got Can O’ Silkworms. Are these okay for chameleons? Are they nutritious at all?
I was just trying to feed my chameleon a black soldier fly and it flew out of the enclosure and is now loose in my room and I cannot find it. Will it just go and die somewhere or will it cause harm in my house somehow?
My chameleon laid her eggs last week and had not gone to the bathroom for several days until today and it looked like this (see picture). That is by far the biggest her urate had ever been. Is that okay or normal?
How soon after a chameleon lays her eggs should you remove the laying bin from the enclosure?
Mine laid hers on Tuesday night, but she keeps going back down to the bin, so I’m not sure if i should remove it yet.

My ZooMed Daylight Blue Reptile Bulb just died after using it for two months and I need to get another heat bulb for my enclosure now. Do chameleons need this specific reptile bulb, or could I use a regular heat bulb that would work in my fixture? The ZooMed Daylight Blue Reptile Bulb at Petco...

Today i noticed that my female veiled chameleon had white around her nostril and mouth. I was wondering what this meant?
She is still eating and moving around alright. Two days ago, i switched her uvb light from a T8 light to a T5. Could that have something to do with it?
What are the best fruits and vegetables that people feed their chameleons? And how much/how often do you feed it to them?
I feed my veiled chameleons a little piece of either an apple, carrot, or cucumber about every other day, but would like to know what others here have used.
I have a female veiled chameleon and she is about to lay her eggs any day now. I have a pretty decent sized bucket full of dirt in her enclosure right now and it takes up quite a bit of space in there. I was wondering if it is okay to take the bin out once she has laid her eggs and then wait in...
