    Enclosure Placement?

Lol I guess I'm late to the party on these! Hmm that's a good idea about using these to keep the curtains from blowing around too 🤔 I may have to stop at the store today and pick these up.

Thank you so much! This is very good information. In that case, I will build the cage away from the vent.

    Enclosure Placement?

Thank you Poseidonthechameleon! I usually keep my house at 68 to 72 degrees in the winter, but as a newbie, I'm not sure if the air exposure will be too dry for a chameleon, then I wonder if this will also effect her tropical plants I keep in her cage.

    Enclosure Placement?

Hi everyone. Just a quick question here. We are currently remodeling my livingroom and diningroom. I have an area in the house that I thought would be a nice spot to make room for a new chameleon cage I plan to build. I feel that it would make use of the space but also be a cool placement for a...

Before and After Egg Laying Pics?

Thank You! I had a feeling my husband was feeding her too many dubia roaches. Our basking light intensity may also need to be reduced as well. Do you have a recommendation on roughly how many large dubia roaches to feed her a day? We are still struggling with finding out the proper feeding amount.

Before and After Egg Laying Pics?

Hello everyone, My veiled chameleon is in the process of digging a hole and getting ready to lay her eggs. My question is, people say that the chameleon will get skinny after laying her eggs. I was just wondering how much of a difference it looks on them since they lay so many eggs. Does...

    Female Veiled Question?

Thank you! She is very sweet! So if im understanding correctly, the mating behavior is exhibited prior to her actually laying eggs? Is this like a cycle? I should also mention that there are no males around and I do not intend to breed her.

    Female Veiled Question?

Hello! Quick question about female veiled chameleons. My veiled is showing dark green receptive colors, she is still very young and has not layed her first clutch of eggs yet. She is not stressed and seems to do this randomly throughout the day, especially when she is sitting up high in her...

    Heat Lamp Burnt Out

Hi everyone. So the situation is, my husband left for work and we currently have only 1 working vehicle. Later on today, I noticed that the basking light burnt out (it was working in the early morning). So obviously I will buy a new one and a spare one when he comes back home in a few hours...
