So my panther chameleon yoshi is usually rainbow colors so like green red a little blue but for the past couple of days he has only been in his PJ colors so red and yellow we just got him new light so does anyone know what could be wrong with him?
I'm making this post mostly because I just want to post pictures of the new little guy also I just want to make sure of a couple things. So I have a veiled cham hes around 2-3 years old i was told and he doesn't move very much just kinda stays at his basking spot and patrols his cage once in a...
Hi fellow chameleon people it has been a while since I posted on here but this is a very unexpected event so here we are. Today while I was in school my dad texted me and said one of his coworkers has a panther chameleon that he can not keep anymore and he want us to take him since we are the...
So I heard that chameleons can be triggered by some colors and I just put some new zip ties in my guys enclosure that are bright red and he started to act weird around them just wondering if chameleons are actually triggered by some colors so that I can replace the zip ties
So my chameleon is pretty fat and I've had him on a diet of 3 crickets every other day for months and it doesn't seem to be helping should I drop down to 2 crickets every other day or that not enough
I got home from school today and my dad said red (my cham) had not moved from his sleep spot all day so I immediately got worried and tried to feed him a cricket which he did not eat which is really weird because regularly he is VERY food motivated what could be wrong with him? If you need any...
I just got my chameleon a few months ago and the shop said he was 2.5 years old and I know that pretty old for a chameleon and eventually he will start to slow down im just wonder when i should expect him to start slowing down?
(Pictures of the man himself of course)
I just made my cham a outside cage that is 3×2×2 would much rather have made it 4 foot but since its just his "vacation house" my dad said no anyway how long should I leave him outside for?
I've read that chameleons can be oved hydrated and I'm a little worried since I would like to start giving him one longer misting system so I'm just wondering is over hydration something I should be worried about or is it one of those things where we will stop drinking when he's good
my chameleon has been falling asleep before his lights go off nothing super bad but his lights go on and off at 9 and he falls asleep at like 8, is that to long should I turn them off sooner or is there something wrong with him?
so I have some horn worms and they are huge and for some reason they try and BITE me eventide I pick them up with tweezers and now I think one of them is turning into a moth what should I do? I obviously can't give them to my chameleon because they are biting right?
After hearing your advise I was super nervous that red didn't feel comfortable in his enclosure so I could wait till tomorrow to redo it here's how it turned out please give me feedback (literally just put him in so he hasn't explored yet)
so I've had my veiled for about a week he is 2.5 years old and he LOVES to go outside (I know I'm not supposed to hold him yet but he gets himself into situations where he needs my help sometimes lol) but whenever I open his cage he runs over to the door and start climbing toward me so of course...
