    Mistking water question

I have a 5 gallon bucket that I fill with distilled water. The distiller I purchased from amazon has an auto shut off once its done and it does about a gallon at a time. For my parsons I mist 15 minutes in the morning before lights on and 15 minutes at night right after lights out. Keep humidity...

    Mistking water question

I am not sure where you live but I bought one off of amazon for around 150$. They might have some that are cheaper as well. I have a panther and a Parsons so I go through a LOT of water and its cheaper to buy a distiller than have to buy gallons of it at the store.

    UVB lighting

no, I personally would use a linear bulb. I dont thing those bulbs put out enough UVB unless your cham is directly under the bulb.

    Enrichment Ideas?

I let some of my BSFL hatch into Soldier flies and let them go in the cage so my cham gets to hunt down flies, he really seems to enjoy the hunt. I also do the same thing with wax worms and let the moths go in the cage.

    Male or female

I am pretty sure you have a girl, at this point the spur should be larger for a male.

    Cham fell

I am glad you were comfortable enough to ask a question, it can be scary when you are a new cham owner. I have a plastic shower curtain outside my cage to keep the water from hitting my walls. If you close in your cage with a shower curtain or something like this just keep an eye on your...

My Chameleon is going on a cricket strike.

Have you ever tried Black Soldier fly larvae or the flies themselves? a lot of chams love the movement. The larvae have a lot of calcium so no need to dust them. This is a great staple feeder for your cham. Also there are a lot of different kinds of roaches that move a little more than dubia's...

    Cham fell

You have a compact UVB light and that does not put out enough UVB for your cham. This can lead to MBD, which if she falls can lead to broken bones a lot easier. You need to buy a linear UVB fixture for her so she can start to get the UVB that she needs. Also all of the plastic plants have to go...

Does anyone know of a pump that will turn on as water fills up?

Awesome thank you. I guess I will move forward with my plan.

    Is he really a male

I would be pretty confident in saying that this is a male. I have seen some females have small spurs but his coloration would also tell me that its a male.

Does anyone know of a pump that will turn on as water fills up?

Do you have any problems with him eating the dirt? Some people are saying that parsons love to eat the dirt in with plants. I love the idea of planting straight into the box and then allowing the water to filter out through the dirt, allows for less watering of your plants and also looks really...

Does anyone know of a pump that will turn on as water fills up?

Did you plant directly into that box and have that as the bottom of your parson cage?

    Hard water

I bought a distiller and do my own distilled water at home. My panther has no problem with this and has been doing very well.
