So my juvenile panther has been on the following misting schedule since I got him about a month ago:
-2am for 2-3 minutes
-5am for 2-3 minutes
-5pm for 2-3 minutes
-Dripper during the day
This worked well and he was typically asleep during misting sessions and basking on and off most of the...
I just got some superworms in today for my 3.5 month old panther. I’m only planning to use them as occasional treats to help with building trust. However, they seem humongous compared to the 1/4” crickets and roach nymphs he’s currently eating as staple feeders. I just want to be sure they are...
It’s been about a week since my 3 month old cham’s last shed. He still has the smallest piece on the tip of his tail. I’ve read other threads about it possibly constricting the tail so I just want to make sure I should continue to leave it alone at this point. He is otherwise doing fine. Thanks!

I’m about to place my first feeder order in anticipation of my first panther chameleon arriving in the next few weeks (born early February). I was planning to order 500 1/4” banded crickets and 50 1/4” BSFL from Josh’s Frogs and I’m guessing this will last me a little over a month. Now, for your...
Hello, chameleon community! I just wanted to introduce myself as I look forward to being more active in these forums. I just purchased a male panther chameleon which will be ready to come home in April/May. In the meantime, I’m preparing for his arrival so everything is ready when he gets here...
