Can mouth rot be treated with betadine? The only vet in my area that will see chameleons really doesnt know anything. Im in Wyoming.
My husbandry is the cause, my hygrometer apparently took a nose dive & my humidity has been below 10% for who knows how long. Im trying to attach a video of his...
My female has had 4 babies that I can find. She passed 5 yellow globs. Im assuming unfertilized ova.
I moved the babies to a 20 gallon tall empty tank I have. I have ordered separate mesh enclosures. Do they need a heat source over night? We keep our house around 63° at night. Do I use a...
My male 1.5 year old ambilobe panther chameleon's color has been off the last month. His sleeping colors arent really there at all. I've noticed its not as vibrant. He also is not as active as he was before. Is this something I need to be concerned about? Do their colors become less vibrant as...
I have had my female Jackson's for 3 weeks. I got her from a pet store so I do not know her age. They said she had been there for 4 months.
For the last 3 days she has not eaten at all. She was at the bottom of the enclosure all morning & was still colored in her sleeping colors.
I noticed for...
I need 2 XL enclosures. Small holes are ok. I can rescreen or fix. I will need them shipped, I live in Northern Wyoming. I'm just trying to avoid buying new. :ROFLMAO:
I went to get fish food today & my Petco has Jackson's chameleons! A male & female in the same little tank. The worker said she thinks they are 4ish months old, they've been there over a month. I want to take them home, they look so stressed & the male has been picking on the poor little female...
I want try out red runners & orange heads for my panther chameleon. He refuses Dubia. Where can I buy either or both of these? I can't seem to find small-ish quantities. I dont want to buy 50+ if he wont eat them & be stuck with a bunch of bugs. Hes my only reptile.
Thanks!
I'm at a loss as to what to do with my 9 month old, male, panther chameleon. He won't stop eating dirt! He is now refusing ALL bugs & actively seeking out dirt. He is in a 18x18x24 bioactive enclosure. I have covered the pots mounted on the back wall with rocks, but I don't think I can cover...
I have had my male Panther chameleon for 2 weeks. He is eating, drinking & pooping great. But I'm unsure about how active he should be? He doesn't seem to move around the cage very much. Is this normal? I assumed as a very young chameleon he would be fairly active.
Thanks!
