My six month old GSP puppy, got a hold of a two week old fruit fly culture while I was out.
She ate it all. Elxcesior and all. The plastic survived, and a handful of flies. Her poop is gonna be soooooo gross.
Bonus pic of angry Chester
I have some Vanilla Gorilla Eggs, that are just about to the six month mark. I know it's still early, but I want to be prepared for worst case scenario. Placed an order from Josh's Frogs, to get fly cultures started, and they were "out of the media" and would have it back in "asap". Everyone...
We stumbled across this at a Tuesday Morning, and got them to price match Amazon. They are on Amazon for 39.99 and can use their tongue to magnetically capture the bugs. Super cute!
Caught a great deal on these XL LED reptibreeze enclosures. We will not be using the red lights.
This weekend, we literally just screwed them together and stuck them on a dresser.
Lots and lots of work left to do. We were using monsoon on a pair of chams, and ordered a misting for Matt's new...
At what point is it too cool to go outside for some sunshine? We are in Atlanta, and on a good day, we hover between 65 and 70. Didn't know where the trade off between proper temps and natural sunlight tips over.
Every once in awhile I peruse Craigslist, to see if there are some awesome deals on enclosures or such.
I came across this guy, and the cage looks cool, but I only see one light up there, and this guy has a very swollen casque. I sent them an email, to see what the husbandry is like. I don't...
Sounded like there are a lot of @Matt Vanilla Gorilla well loved babies out there, so I wanted to see a thread of all his lovelies.
We currently have five of his Ambanja eggs, laid in early September 2018.
About an hour ago, we received our 3 month old Ambilobe panther from Matt and Jessica...
Video was posted to the Facebook group. I really enjoyed the commentary.

We picked a juvenile male up at a local show, on a whim. The vendor identified him as Oustalet's. Not much info out there on them. Just wondering if anyone here has any interesting sources about them. He's not very fancy, but he's a cool dude.
Came up in my suggested items. At only $10, it looks like it might be a decent alternative to rigging cups of dubias on a branch. Anyone tried one with chams? One reviewer said her chams wouldn't eat out of it.
I'm sure everyone would recommend washing it between every use, right...
I have been a lurker on chameleon forums for a bit, and recently signed up for a username. However, I stumbled upon reddit's chameleon forum. Perhaps I've been on here too long, but it seems like all of their "experts" recommend completely different husbandry practices.
I have seen chams...
Good morning!
Been reading threads for weeks now, decided to finally post. New cham owner. We also have some crested geckos and a bearded dragon. Our system is still evolving as we discover new info. Unfortunately, we made an impulse decision to purchase a chameleon at a trade show, and the...
