Thanks all, I appreciate the info. I will be taking your advice and getting silk worms. I will try breeding them. I have hundreds of Dubia roaches that I’ve bred from5 that I bought. My bearded dragon loves them. Will let you know how I get on with the silk worms. If anyone in uk wants Dubias...
hey all,
I’ve been wondering about Hornworms as a treat for my beardy and for future Chameleon( I still haven’t found Roz) and I read that they are illegal in the UK?? Is this true? Also, Amazon UK is selling some(see photo) and I was wondering whether they are a good food or not. If so, is it...
Wow, what beautiful reps!! I would definitely love a couple of those if you were local. What a shame that they are becoming few in numbers. Thank you for posting those awesome photos too :)
Unfortunately I don’t...well, none that I would be comfortable recommending anyway. Krayzee chamz are located in Harlow which is London. He ships too :)
Thank you and yes,I look out for her everyday, morning, afternoon, evening and night. I miss her and worry about her. I hate that she could have/May be suffering. Thank you for your kind words :)
Thanks...Yes, Roy seems very pleasant and knowledgeable every time I speak to him. I have been following him for a couple of years now and that’s why I went to him ☺️ He seems to come highly recommended which is what I wanted. (As we all do obviously lol) It’s always nice to hear others...
Having had a really sad week after my beautiful Roz (veiled) disappeared from her sun spot in the garden, I am now looking forward to a new arrival in the form of a little panther male. I’ve been following a UK breeder called Krayzee Chamz for nearly 2 years now and they will be sending him to...
Great idea! Thanks, I will start looking out for one. I like the idea of making one so I might buy a cheap cage and modify/enlarge it for purpose. I do love seeing them outside. They really love it don’t they?
Thanks Remkon...it has certainly opened my eyes. I love to take them into the sunshine when we actually get some here but as you say, I will never leave them roaming freely again. I will never let this happen again. X
Just an update...it’s now been 4 days since Roz did a disappearing act and I have hunted day and night for her. No luck. I’m now accepting that she is gone, I don’t want to imagine where or why but I’m so sad for her I have learnt a hard lesson. I will be cleaning her cage out thoroughly over...
I just wanted to say thank you to you all for replying and also for being supportive. I was dreading the responses in case people were scathing or mean. I have found support and advice and I am very grateful. This has been a very positive experience for me especially considering I am new to this...
That’s entirely what I’m dreading. We have crows around for sure. I am so gutted about it. I am now in the process of building a safe outside cage but wish I’d done this before. Hindsight is a wonderful thing
Here in the uk we have had beautiful weather this last week. I have been taking my bearded dragon outside for 3 yrs now and he is loving it. 3 days ago, having perfectly positioned patio trees next to our seating area, I put Ros on the branches. She absolutely loved it. So much so that when I...
