    if your not sure about how to mix your substrate I recommend https://www.thebiodude.com/ it's a lil expensive but imo I think worth it. I got the terra firma for when my ostie needs to lay eggs. and NEherps has sum great microfauna if your on the east coast.

    I'm in pa and have a reptibreeze, $6 shower curtain and a $40 target humidifier fixed my humidity issues. also live plants help. only issue I have is the aethetics of the curtain taped to the frame :(

    yeah I ordered my horns extra small like 1/2 inch, and ended up hatching my bsf and blue bottle flies out. which btw if u wanna see ur cham running all over the enclosure lol just let sum flies loose in there.

    if your looking for other feeders try BSFL, and silkworms. silkies are expensive tho. hornworms are excellent treats as well. atm I think the real option I got for wild caught are the stoneflys that land all over me while fishing.

    plant lighting

    nah not on top. was gonna get the adapter thebiodude has too soo I could move it around like u mentioned. I'm thinking I may add a strip across the door on front and hang/mount it there not sure yet. the cork panels I have to help with humidity are screwing me with lighting locations down low.
