One of my female panther chameleons started growing a mass on her front right hand (? Paw, whatever you call their feet). I have posted pictures of it before in this forum. Everyone, including my vet had thoughts from bumblefoot to a virus. I had it removed around the same time i noticed the...
Im posting several photos. Hera, my 2 1/2 yr old female panther got an unidentified growth on her tail. The vet and I watched it for changes but there were non. Later she developed one on her foot. She couldnt hold tight, so I had it removed. Pathology said it was benign skin cells with mild...

Im writing to tell new members: change the humidifier water and wash the container as well. It doesnt work to just keep fresh water for humidity and drinking. WASH THE CONTAINERS. My chams have some bad bacteria in their guts. I have appropriate meds now and they are fine but I realized I was...
My cham is 16 months old. I have had him over a year. He is ambilobe blue bar male.
He is large. Very large for a panther. He eats roaches, crickets, horn worms and super Worms. He eats everyday, when he will and he usually eats 6 or 7 bugs a day. He has constant steam and a dripper that is...
Does anyone know of anybody custom making drip pans/containers for water overflow at the cage bottom. I have my cages sitting on plastic totes and I have fountain pumps that pump the water out. I feel like the cage doesn't sit as solid as I would like it. Check photo.
I would like a metal...
jacksons has had a 6 month bout with a high phos count and his calcium a little low. I asked the vet, "isn't that
mbd?" and she said not yet. well, I treated it like it was. I was already doing stuff by the book, so I stepped it up. More humidity, a fan to lower his temp (summer/no ac), more...
My chameleons all seem to be going to sleep pretty early now. When i get home at 7, the young ones are already sleeping. I was thinking that I should turn their mister off earlier too. When do any of you stop misting
I just got home from work. I looked in Zero's cage. No Zero. (Female, panther, 10months old, got here with frozen back legs, never sick in her life)Then there, in the plant, at the bottom, she was. Hiding. I reached in, knowing something was wrong. I pulled her out foam covering her lips...
I bought this little dodad for 8 bucks on line. I dropped it into a jug of watejr and instant humidity. Im sure there is a better way to get the humidity into the cage and Im sure it can be dressed up, etc. But my point is, even tho i have mineral filled water, maybe i wont have to buy a a new...

My jackson had blood drawn a couple weeks ago. His tail has been....off limits to me. If my hand comes near it, he jumps away. He has never, in years, not come to me and welcomed my touch. Now, he moves away. Then this a.m. I saw this on him. Is this normal after a blood draw?
I use REPTISUN uvb 5.0 lighting. I change them out every 6 months. I never bought a light meter because I use the safest use parameters. My jackson has something wrong. We did blood and he is upside down w his phos and calcium! How can that be??? I gutload, (the stuff i alternate w is in the...
My jackson is at least 4.
I sent pcs of my setup
Its 72° in the house
His basking is 80 and he seldom uses it.
He sits under his dripper and his fogger runs most of the time
We have a swamp cooler so between the dripper, fogger and sc is about 70% or more humidity.
Im looking at his knees...
RIP my Little Cita
Sometimes, we do everything we can think of and it is still not enough. I realized this while reading Maders, a 4" thick, medical tome, at 3:30 am.
I have told my little soldier's story here before in "Spayed and still digging" and other posts. If you want the whole story...
My chameleon has been spayed but she is still digging. She was an emergency surgical and im posting. Pic of what they got. This is everything so why would she dig. Hysterically gravid? Idk. But im scared she is gonna die and i feel so helpless to help her. Does anyone know.
This is the chamie that alphakenc sent to me-free of charge-when i was in conflict with Backwater. He heard we whining on cf about possibly having 3 female panthers and promised to send me a baby as soon as they were ready to travel. He is healthy w shiny eyes, perfect skin and a great appetite...
I have 4 chams, all in good health, current w their vet and strong (but sometimes picky) eaters. I have 3 females and 1 male, currently. My male has big strong legs, plump eyes and a lean, beautiful muscularity to him. But my girls...mmmm. I try everything. I gutload, I vary the content, I have...
