All but 3 of my jacksonii jacksonii babies have gone to new homes. They will be 6 months old this Saturday. Well, today, their mom gave birth to a bunch of siblings. I just found 16 of them crawling around Mom's enclosure.
can already see horn nubs!
Here are some pics of my 2.5 month old...
Jacksonii jacksonii babies available. Well started and almost 6 months of age. Their mother was WC and has been in my care since January. She gave birth March 3rd. She is due to give birth again any day now so I would like to get these big babies settled in their new homes so I can give my...
I don't keep quads but I got one anyway. Most shirts have veiled chams on them but this is one of the few that I have found that has a horned chameleon on it. And it was only $15.67 shipped!! Couldn't pass it up. What do you think? Do you like my new shirt?
It's been a really busy week but I finally have time to post some pics of my newest Mt. Meru babies born last Sunday as well as a pic update of my 6 week old jacksonii jacksonii babies.
I am now raising 4 groups of babies from 3 different mothers. My oldest Mt Meru's turned 5 months old 11 days...
I just found this 4 minute video on YouTube about chameleon farming in Kenya. I knew all 3 of my Jacksonii Jacksonii adults (all obtained earlier this year) came from a chameleon farm in Kenya but I didn't really know what that entailed. Now I have a better idea.
I knew that title would get your attention!
Earlier this month, I received a long awaited shipment of baby Indian Walking Sticks from one of our CF members. The member had other species of walking sticks available but I chose to waiting until this variety of sticks was available...
I have a dozen 3 month old jacksonii jacksonii babies and I am trying to figure out how many are males and how many are females. While some of the ones I think of as male have more blue and yellow coloring and the females appear to have less bright coloring &/or brown patterning, I don't think...
I just got home and was checking on my Mt. Meru female to see if she'd given birth when I noticed a baby clinging to the top of the enclosure next to hers. My jacksonii jacksonii female gave birth!! Now sure how many yet. I've found two stillborn and two alive so far. More info and pics to...
Does anyone know where I can buy some snails to breed and then feed to my Jackson's chameleons? Any info about breeding and feeding snails would be great as well. Thanks!!
Tuesday, I posted here and on one of my chameleon facebook groups that I was looking for a gravid jacksonii jacksonii. Well, she arrived today!! And here she is sunning herself on the dash of my car as we drove home from the FedEx office this afternoon. I think she's beautiful!
I have had a Dubia colony for more than a year. This week I noticed that more than a few flying beetles have moved into the neighborhood (which just happens to be a very large lidded Rubbermaid tub). They are pretty small and can fly but are easy to capture mid-flight. Since the tub always...
ISO GRAVID JACKSONII JACKSONII. This is my female trioceros jacksonii jacksonii. I love her bright green and yellow coloring. She was wild caught and gravid when she arrived in January. Her babies are nearly 3 months old. I am in search of a second jacksonii jacksonii female, preferably already...
My Mt. Meru babies turned three months old yesterday and my jacksonii jacksonii babies are about 2.75 months old. They are now all in individual Exo Terra glass enclosures. The older babies are in 8" x 12" enclosures and the smaller, younger babies are in 8" x 8" enclosures. Each enclosure has...

Wow, do I have babies! Thirteen days ago one of my Mt. Meru girls gave birth to 6 babies. Then, today, my sole jacksonii jacksonii female gave birth to 17 babies. Luckily, I had suspected that three of my females might be gravid so I read up on everything I could here on the forums regarding...
This is my female T.j. jacksonii. I have only had her for 16 days and she looks VERY gravid to me. I snapped this picture of her tonight just as she was settling in for the night. Anyone here familiar with gravid Jacksons that can tell me how long you think it will be before she gives birth...
