OK Jackson's experts.
We're at a reptile show.
Lots of WC Jackson's from Hawaii being sold cheap.
Does anyone know if you need to worry about parasites and stress like the African WCs?
Just curious....
Ok. This quote is posted at the bottom of the homepage:
Chameleons do have taste buds on their tongue but overall they have a poor sense of taste.
If this is true, why (OH WHY!) do they go on hunger strikes? One week, he LOVES hornworms, the next.....
Why won't they eat super fast bugs, that...
Experts, please let me know your thoughts on this.
My daughters take a biology class for school, and they're now studying reptiles. They really want me to bring Pixel to class to show him off. However, I'm super worried about this.
If anyone has followed my posts, you'll know that Pixel is...
He just arrived from Jann's loving home.
I named him "Wasabi."
I'm not a very good photog, so I asked husband and kids to do the honors.
He climbed right out of his little bag and onto my hand. So strong and healthy!
Thank you, Jann! So excited to watch him grow.
Hey, All.
I'm searching madly for organic Eucalyptus plants or even branches. I need them for Aussie Sticks.
I spoke to a local florist who told me anything I might find would be loaded with pesticides.
Hoping someone on here might know a source.....Thanks!
Hey, All.
My Panther, "Pixel", did something I'd never seen the other night. It was so cool, I decided to start a new thread to discuss all the mind-blowing things these creatures can do.
So, please share "The coolest thing ever..." about your cham.
Here's what he did: He's currently in a...
Just had to post a baby pic of my boy, "Pixel." Purchased from Angela Ni, of @Chamtopia.
He is a true yellow body/red bar when he fires up!
He's now 2 1/2 yrs old, and such a joy to our lives. Nearly every day, he begs to come out of his cage and climb up a willing arm to the top of a...
i attempted to buy silk worms from a new supplier, which turned out to be a mistake.
Most arrived dead and about 4 of them spun into cocoons the day after they arrived.
I need advice on where to keep the cocoons. I figure my Cham can eat the moths when they emerge. (Won't be a total loss...
Dear Parson's & Melleri keepers,
Some day, down the road, in the (probably very) distant future, I dream of one day owning one of these gorgeous creatures. My question is thus;
Which one? Which one is easier to keep? Which one has a better temperament?
Now that I'm completely spoiled by my...
Just had to share......
My Panther Cham is extremely mellow and tame (thanks, Chamtopia!), and bumps his nose on his door to be let out, just about every day. He has trees, drapes and various other things to climb, in my bedroom.
Once in a while, Pixel falls asleep before I have a chance to...
Hello, All!
Just returned from an amazing missions trip to Zambia. While there, I searched high and low, hoping to see some chams, but to no avail.
Then it dawned on me; It's the dry season. No rain, means no water, means no chams!
Here's the question: Where on earth do they go?
We visited a...
Hey, All.
I'm frustrated, because I got the email from Mulberry Farms about silkworms in stock, but I was traveling and didn't order in time. UGH!!
Does anyone know ANYONE who has silks for sale right now? My Panther has become waaaaay too picky and I need to find some.
Thanks!
PS. Please PM...
Hey, All
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this;
I have a 1yr old Panther, very healthy, VERY active, with proper lighting, food, supplements, etc....
He didn't shed for a while, then a few days ago, he started this massively thick shed, that looks like about 3 layers thicker than any...

Just had to share. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
My 1 year old Panther has been slowly developing a white rostrum and I don't know why.:(
He recently went through a long hunger strike and even ingested several small pebbles, which he passed without incident. He's now eating just fine, and very active.
His feeders get dusted with the usual...
OK, all you "True Blue" Be owners; I'm starting some long, slow research about Nosy Be chams. I'm looking to (possibly) purchase one next Spring.
What I need to know is how to search for "True Blue". I'm not really interested in any with red rain, etc...
Also, do the True Blue's still...
