So, it has been a good few months since I've been active on here and it has been a dry... DRY winter here in northern Virginia.
Osiris, my nearly year-old chameleon has been in a slow sectioned shed for about a month now, but having issue with the pads of his feet.
I've made sure that his...

Earlier in the week I'd noticed Osiris having problems with his eyes. Lots of blinking and rubbing on vines, a bit of fluid in one that I cleared up with some saline solution. He'd also been swallowing a lot.
Being the paranoid 'parent' that I am, I took my VERY angry little lizard into the vet...
So, my brat decided to leave me a treat in his feeding cup. I was extremely alarmed at first, thinking some horrible creature was dwelling in my Cham's digestive tract. But then came to the realization that yesterday I had fed him some silkworm moths and that these eggs would most likely be...
Decided to make a photo thread for my little guy.
Today was "big-boy-cage-day". I lured him out of the partially disassembled old cage to his window-tree so I could work.
Silly critter decided he preferred the back of the chair instead, then spent the rest of the time trying to figure out the...
So, I was wondering if anyone has attempted this before, attaching part of a mistking system to a Big Dripper so one doesn't have to constantly refill it?
With the new cage on the table we're currently using, I'm going to have to get a step ladder or something since there's no way I'll be able...
I lost track of time while keeping an eye on him and playing video games, noticed that he was being rather quiet since I usually track his leaf-crinkling noises for location. Found the pretty boy dreaming happily. :p
Age: 7 months
Osiris has been madly scraping at the side of his cage near the window for days now. Pacing the enclosure endlessly until dark and just being overall restless and grumpy.
While I'm plugging away on getting a bigger enclosure set up for him, I'm still waiting on some supplies to arrive and need...
So I received the new 24" HO T5 Double Bulb fixture w/ Arcadia 6% and 6.5k Day-light Bulbs today from lightyourreptiles.com.
Everything is spiffy and shiny, but now I'm not sure if I'm just supposed to slap it up on top of the aluminum screen cage like I did with his wimpy 5.0 compact...
For the past few days I've noticed that Osiris (in depth info sheet here), my 6 month-ish year old panther, has been acting skittish whenever I am near his cage for feeding or cleanup.
He's generally left to his own means beyond the daily needs now that I have set up a mistking system.
Used to...
Found this rather curious and amusing, just thought I'd share.

4-5 Months old
Owned for 1.5 months

Only handled twice for entire time owned.
Extremely shy
Feeding
Currently only crickets until we can arrange for other feeders delivered. Recently began hand feeding with a mealworm treat...
So I'm looking to add some variety into Osiris' diet, but living in an apartment sort of keeps any "farming" to a minimum. We keep a weekly supply of crickets in a critter keeper which stays in our rarely-used extra bathtub (prevents escapees!) and that's about it.
I'm looking for information...
Hey everyone,
Just decided to finally get involved with the community here and introduce myself since I've been lurking and soaking up all the information you guys have posted on here. (Seriously, this forum is a life saver. Made setting up his enclosure and familiarizing myself with chameleon...
