    I used them for at least a year they worked really good with a 1/2 in of plan water in the bottom. I only stopped using them because I can fit more eggs in a cup with hatchrite then with the trays and I was running out off room in the Incubator.

    Try turning one of the cages upside down moving the top to the bottom. The doors would be the opposite I can't tell if it would work without looking cages . Just a thought

    The only other thing I could add is I make sure the heat pad is under the part of the cage where the soil is and i like the bottom of the soil container to be at lest 90 degs and the top 80 or so. It takes almost two weeks tell you start seeing pinheads

    They are about 4 months old . I will check all of those links thank you . I am a bit confused on the temp thing if I put a thermometer in there hot spot it is in the med to low 80s but there skin temp is a lot hotter so i am not sure which is more imported
