Hi guys, havnt been on in awhile.
I just set my chameleon up with a enclosure that's 7 1/2 feet tall by 7 1/2 feet wide. Now I'm going to need some tall plants/mini trees for him so I'm just wondering if anyone knows which common trees are ok for chameleons if my veiled were to eat the leaves...
my cage is 2x2x4 same as the rest with a white plastic slate at the bottom.
well for drainage i have drilled a 2 inch hole in the middle of the plastic that goes through the table underneath. well i noticed that between the white slate and table is a bit of water which is natural but i also...
My 6 month old male veiled hasn't shed in a couple of months and then 2 days ago started to shed and is still shedding today. Is it normal to be taking this long?
My veiled is about 6 months old now and lately he hasn't be eating nearly as much.
Seems like its slowed down drastically. Usually I would feed him 6 phownix worms and 15-20 crickets a day. He barely eats 10 crickets now. Today I think he ate 3 worms and maybe 5 crickets. Id rather hear that...
when i got home from work today at 6:30 my 5 month old male veilds mouth was open and his tongue was sticking out a bit. i've never seen this before so i put my hand in the cage and he closed it then 45 minutes later the lights are off cuz it's bedtime and i see him in his sleeping spot with his...
Is it safe for a cham to eat dead phoenix worms? I just received mine and some are dead due to heat. Black looking like they are pupating. Others are pure white but not moving.
my male veiled cham is about 4 months old now i've had him for about 2 1/2 months and recently has started acting real weird. some times he hisses and then runs away or looks like he is going to bite me. it's weird because he hasn't done this since i got him. and has been taking food out of my...
i currently feed my baby cham phoenix worms and crickets but on my next order i plan to get some super worms as well. are they pretty good for chams in terms of nutrition ect? also the site i'm getting them from sells bedding/food in one as well, do they need any other food or anything? i have...
when your cham climbs the screen does he get stressed/scared?
every time i find mine on the screen he has a bunch of spots on him like a pattern as if he's stressed. just makes me question why he goes up there if it was to bother him.
My cham is almost laying down. His butt and back end is laying on his perch but his front is kind of up. Is this normal? I think I remember seeing something about chams should apways be standing up when not sleeping. Thanks I'm advance for any help.
i just watched my 3.5 month old veiled hold onto a branch with his back feet and try to grab something that wasn't there resulting in him falling. what could be the reasoning for this? he looks like he's trying to hug the air, then i guess lets go with his back legs. any help is appreciated.
