Aesop was my panther chameleon. Some of you may remember I posted about him quite a lot when I first got him. He struggled with a chronic eye issue for a long time, with things getting really bad earlier in the week. I took him to see ferret and she prescribed a very thorough round of treatment...
Helloo everybody! It’s been way too long since I’ve posted; I’m going to try and be more active again. Aesop has grown a ton, especially in the color department, since I last posted. He’s about eight months old now, which means he has now officially been with me for the majority of his life...
Something is very wrong with Aesop's eyes. He was totally fine yesterday, but when I woke up today he was unresponsive to the point of almost being catatonic, not responding to food or even being touched, although his colors are normal. He isn't looking around much, keeping his eyes pointed...
Hey everybody. So I got back from a trip to my cousins wedding. My mom was watching Aesop for me, and since he had previously always done his business right in the front of his cage, I told her to look for the droppings there. He apparently changed his habit when I was gone, because when I was...
So I built Aesop a freerange; I posted it in my thread in the photo section but was advised that I would get more feedback here. Tell me what you think! Advice and constructive criticism is welcome and encouraged:D Also if anyone has any experience they can share about their range time:cage time...
So I just got 'sop's freerange set up, and I can already tell he would like to spend his whole life on it, and that would be great, except that the uvb light is on his cage, which is also the only place in the room where the humidity stays at proper levels. Ideally I would get a giant fixture...
Aesop is turning into kind of a picky eater, the only things he eats readily are phoenix worms and crickets. He'll eat a few roaches then stop, and just turns up his nose altogether at super or silk worms. I know the standard method of introducing new feeders (or getting them to accept old ones...
Aesops eyes seem to have been bothering him on and off since I got him, but he's been really rubbing and scrunching and bubbling. I feel really bad for him :(. I've been doing the shower spray at the wall trick, and it helps some, but not much. I was planning on scheduling a general checkup...
So I got Aesop 22 days ago, when he was about three and a quarter months old. He had some dandruff on his head that is still there and hasn't really changed much. A while ago he started puffing and gaping and thrashing, and I made a post about it, and I was reassured that it was a sign on an...
So I'm giving Aesop a shower due to the scrunching and rubbing I have observed, and he accidentally got sprayed directly for a half second. He closed his eyes, and has kept them closed since (this was about fifteen minutes ago). Is this normal or did I exacerbate the problem I'm trying to fix?

How do you do it? I just got my first dish of them in today and they all just stick themselves together, I feel like if Aesop went for one he would pull them all back and get whacked in the face.
So we all know chams show some of their best colors when they are hot to trot; I only have the one so I don't get to see this, but I know thats not the case for many of you! Got a good pic of it? Post it here! Lets see those horny chams haha!
So I would really like to get some pics of Aesop snoozing, but I don't want to disturb him. How do you guys get your sleeping pics? Will a flash wake him up?
About a week ago I posted about Aesop snapping the air and was told it's a sign of an impending shed. He's been doing more of yawning type thing recently, just wanted to make sure that that is still in order. I'm not super worried because he has a definite peel on his leg that was there when I...
Right now I have an 18" Zilla slimline tropical as my uvb source, which I think is fine, but I would like to go a little bigger, and am looking for a 24" fixture that can hold a 24" bulb. Thats the tricky part, they all seem to hold 18"
